Constantine laughed... it was not a nice sound. It was filled with scorn and cruelty, and madness. "As a Harlock... yes. Yes, I can see that. So both a creature of Mara now and a Harlock, is it? So be it." He laughed again. "We will be abandoned no longer, left behind no longer. The Emperor's light dies out, and Sinophia rises again. Oh certainly, your glorious Inquisition tries to stop the shadows, as does Harlock... they agree on that much at least. But it's too late."

Constantine laughed again, and his voice was no less filled with cruelty, but was somehow distorted, less human. "Did you think that old spider could defeat us? That he had won? We will have our revenge yet. We are not defeated! Look above you and see the dead stars circling at our will! But you..." he paused, shaking his head. "You will not live to see it, traitor. Die an ignoble death, lapdog."

Then he tilted back his head, his jaw opening impossibly wide, and he screamed out an impossible basso roar that shook the night. Cyn's psychic sense suddenly screamed of danger, and see saw two dark, vaguely humanoid figured leap down from two nearby statues behind her, rushing for her back. Somehow she knew that two more were climbing up the side of the bridge on either side of her, surrounding her as the dark figures moved in.

They weren't human... not anymore at least. They might have been human, once... old men and women, withered with shadows clinging to them. Half of their bodies had been replaced with servitors parts now... wicked claws, gleaming eyes, and servo-harnasses. The monstrous part wasn't the mechanical bits, however... it was the additional biologics. They had bulbous backs, with eight spider legs rupturing out of them, drawing them to skitter across the ground far faster than should have been possible as they headed for her.

She had seen a drawing of something like this before... once. Dusk Walkers. The world of Dusk was the nightmare of the Calixas sector, a feral death world lived on only by the insane and the desperate. It had long been rumored that something lurked out in the swamps of the world... mythics of mad experiments, of insane servitors and modified men and women. She had been told of evidence of numerous cults taking root on that world in the past, and seen images of these spider things before. The Nightmares of Dusk had spread beyond the planet now...

[float=right][/float]Cyn... could not help but remember Constantine as a smart, earnest and probably honest man. Had Gideon been given the chance, he would have happily taken Constantine off this world but of course Constantine's higher ups preferred to promote him. Cyn had left hoping the best for the man... clearly that had not happened.

Listening as Constantine spoke, she knew the more information she got, the better. Some people loved to talk... and usually when they  were talking, they were not really trying to kill... after all it was just rude to kill someone in the middle of the conversation. It seemed like an awkward situation that might cause one to talk to oneself.

As he screamed... it seemed lesson time was over... Although she did seem to learn suddenly that he was no longer human... of course not... why  would he be human.

And... they werent alone...

... Dusk Walkers...

... fuck fuck fuck.... fuuuuck.....

Cyn moved suddenly toward Constantine, she pulled her sword... Samara's sword... Even as she did, she brought her power up. Moving to strike fast, using her will and power to move him, to throw him off the bridge. Out of bridge, out of sight and she prayed for very dead.

From all around Cyn, hideous howls rose into the air as the horde of monstrosities out of humanity's darkest nightmares closed around her. The Dusk Stalkers were among the most nightmarish things that she could imagine outside of Xenos or Daemons of the warp... something out of human understanding, made foul and unbelievably dangerous. She had no doubt that any of the monstrosities could kill her... she knew not what the "other power" Constantine spoke of was, who the clawed sigil belonged to, but they clearly were neither friends of the Imperium in general or her in specific.

Cyn's psychic blast caught the maddened Arbiter in the center of his chest, and he howled as it struck him... an insanely high pitched, loud shriek that much like his original scream sounded like no sound a human could have made. It hit him at an upward angle, sending him not merely towards the  edge but also upward in a smooth arc, sending the lunatic sailing out and away from her and off the bridge.

Before she could cheer about that, though, the dusk stalkers around her howled in fury, and two of them that had just finished climbing up that side of the bridge suddenly launched themselves back off the side, going after Constantine as he arched out of sight down into the night. Still, three enemies down, if only temporarily. Five more to go... two on her left, three behind her. Cyn didn't have time to worry about him anymore as another pair of the bio-mechanical monstrosities rushed at her. The Inquisitorial acolyte met them with Samara's blade in her hand, A huge, clawed hand swept down at her, and she didn't need to think about what it would do to her delicate midsection if it hit... the monstrous stalkers shook the duracrete beneath her feet as she ran. Even if the claws weren't sharp, a hit of something that heavy to her abdomen would turn her insides to jelly. She flung herself backward, dancing out of the way of the brutal swing, and knew what the stalkers intended... they wanted him to need to dodge right into the waiting claws of the second stalker.

Cyn had no intention to oblige them. She began a twist and a spin and turned her body completely sideways to her first attacking, extending her non-blade hand toward the second stalker. Cyn took a single instant to bring her focus into crystalline clarity, then she hammed it with another psychic blast of force. It didn't hit the creature nearly as hard as it had Constantine... the thing was just too strong, too heavy. It did overbalance though, falling down to the ground rather than continue its attack. Then hardly missing a beat, she continued the spin, using it to bring her sword up from below and took the claw of the first stalker off of his arm at the elbow.

The creature didn't react in pain at all... it soundlessly turned and stomped at her with a powerful kick of its clawed foot. Cyn dodged... but not fast enough. She managed to move enough that the kick that should have disemboweled her just clipped her hip with the heel. She felt the reactive armor of the bodysuit immediately go stiff, absorbing as much of the impact as it could, and Cyn felt a flash of agony that almost immediately went numb with the adrenaline, and she was flung down into a brutal tumble that stopped abruptly... she fetched up against the fallen stalker that was beginning to get back up already.

Cyn wasn't sure how she had managed to hold on to her sword and not impale herself , but she had. Desperately, she drove her powersword straight at the top of his armored skull. The power field around her sword usually cut through flesh with barely a hint of resistance, and Cyn was well used to that, but it dug into the flesh of the Dusk Stalker only very slowly... it felt more like cutting through duracrete than flesh and bone, but it penetrated through the skull after a second, and the stalker stopped moving, collapsing back down to the ground next to her as Cyn worked to struggle back to her feet.

"BY FIRE BE CLEANSED!" a mechanical voice roared. It sounded strange and inhuman... but nothing nearly as inhuman as the dusk stalkers all around her. The hulking form of Inquisitor  Harrod was suddenly lit by a jet of flame emerging from one of his hands as the monstrous metal man suddenly appeared behind the three stalkers rushing her from behind, the flame's consuming one of them and blocking it entirely from sight as the flame swallowed it whole.

Cyn  had little choice but to think in the moment. Work in the moment.  Unable to plan with so many foes, so many deadly deadly foes. Twisting, moving, trying to minimize the absolute damage to her. Her goal was to survive, but survive meant very little if she was too banged up to crawl to the portal to get out of this "reality."

Cyn understood this was very important. While she did not completely  understand what had happened here... this was a warning... a possibility... a possibility that was already flowing through the Empire. She didnt know what to do with that knowledge exactly but she had to survive, had to... had to...

Cyn shuddered as her blade, the power blade, so slowly worked through the skull of the Duskwalker,. It was terrifying. If it took so much to kill them all... she was.... dead...

She was only  one woman and they were many... coming for her all at once... Bracing her stance a bit.... she was shocked to her core at the appearance of the Inquisitor.... Inquisitor Harrod...

There wasnt more time than a moment to look at him as the fire exploded and one of the duskwalkers disappeared in the flames. There wasnt time to think about it more than she had an ally. A shaky ally no doubt, but it was an ally. One she desperately needed in order to live the next ten minutes. Aware of the creatures pausing their attack on her. Calculating what was the biggest threat. Cyn reached out to the end creature with her power. Grabbing it as tightly as she could, she wrenched it viciously toward the rubble that littered the road. Using her powers to wrench it into the exposed metal and re bar and cables that gutted out. Striving to impale the creature in a dozen places. Mind working to twist the metal polls to trap it there.

Bringing the sword up to brace herself for the next attack. She had never reached a limit with her psychic abilities, this would be a very  horrible place to find them.

"FOR THE EMPEROR!" The mechanical voice might have been toneless but managed to contain rage through its sheer volume.  The hulking reconstructed Inquisitor wasn't a psyker, but what he lacked in abilities he made up for in sheer, inhuman strength. As the flame thrower attached to his right hand continued to belt out a continuous stream of burning promethium, the searing fuel no doubt sanctified by priests in Emperor's name, the Inquisitor spun to face one of the Dusk stalkers charging him from the side. His sword cut across the path of the monster, and the creature caught it. The hulking, mechanical body was awkward and bulky, which made the Inquisitors sword play techniques straight forward and maybe even a bit sloppy, but the strength behind the blow was nothing short of titanic. The dusk stalker blocked the cut with his own durasteel arm, and it was as resistant to his cut as it had been to hers... but the might of Inquisitor Harrod still send him flying to the side, tumbling across the ground like a ball of rubble displaced by a hivequake.

The Inquisitor's ambrush had been perfectly timed... the Dusk Stalkers had been focused entirely onto Cyn, closing for the kill. They had been blindsides, and their numbers reduced by more than half in the opening seconds of the Inquisitor's attack, catching them completely unaware and vulnerable. The two remaining near her went into a berserker frenzy, raining down blows onto Cyn, less like servitors or warriors now than wild beasts, attacking furiously and with amimal ferocity. Cyn could do little but parry and give ground, defending herself all but completely, only able to send out the simplest and weakest of counters... more in the hope of forcing them to be wary of taking an attack, of making them slow their attack, than in hope of actually landing a hit.

She wasn't kept waiting long... but in the heat of a fight it felt like it. Her mind lashed out even as her sword did the same, trying to push one of them away from her... but with the pressure of the constant attack she couldn't build up a serious psychic blow... more of a push than a hammer. It slowed him down, held him back some, made it easier to fight the two of them but it didn't force him away or destroy him. A minute, no longer... but it felt like a century before the Inquisitor finished off the remaining Stalker he was fighting and turned towards her and her two.

Then the two of them were between her and Harrod, and she turned her attention to the offensive.

They didn't last long.

Cyn was breathing a bit hard as they managed to dispatch the pair of dusk stalkers. Her eyes turning to Inquisitor  Harrod. "Thanks for the aide, much appreicated" She realized that Harrod very much looked like she had last seen him... on Mara...

That thought set her a bit on edge... The last time she had been on Sinophia Magna, his men had been trying to kill her. He was not real thrilled by her being on Mara either...

"There are two more dusk stalkers..." Rolled her shoulders a bit as she tried to stretch. Slowly starting to move away from the bridge. "And  Constantine, the former arbiter of Sinophia Magna... I am not sure he is the cause but he certainly is at a center of .... I sent the bastard over the edge, I dont think I was lucky enough to actually kill him..."

Raising her hands to rub her head lightly. Eyes flickering around her, hoping for the gate, but seemed there might be something?

"Did you come through Mara, Inquisitor?" Asking because she hated to assume much of anything at this point.

As she spoke, the Inquisitor turned to her with a whirling of servos and the hissing of gears as the mechanic body moved. "All the more reason to be gone. I took those by surprise, I would not like to fight them ready."

He paused. "Through the Blind Tesseract, yes. Time is a twisted path...

A shriek went up over the side of the bridge, and it was echoed throughout the city...  hundreds of them, hard enough to reverberate off the towers and the bridge.  As Cyn whipped her head around to track the sound, she caught a glimpse of a flash of glowing silver at the base of a statue... a portal. The Inquisitor turned and rushed for it as well, the servos thudding with the power. He accelerated slowly, sheer mass taking time to get up to speed, but his strides were long and before long he was moving nearly as quick as a normal man.

But not as quick as Cyn. She vanished through the portal, her existence stretching into a long, horrible tunnel that seemed to go on and on and on and on forever...

And then she was sitting on a chair. A comfortable chair. It vibrated softly beneath her... enough to tell her that she was either on a ship or in a factory, and the plushness of this room fit the idea of a ship more. Food was layed out on the table before, her, and glasses of wine, and she was dressed in finery... a blue and black tailored uniform. Medals and badges and pins and other fine pieces of metal or cloth adored the vest, but almost none of it looked Imperial... single Aquilla pin was the only admission of her connection to the Imperium.

Hands slid around her from behind, and she nearly jumped into instant violence... but the scent stopped her... made her freeze. The hands didn't go for her throat... they slid softly down her sides, caressing her... one of them grazing lightly over her right breast before coming to land beneath them, pulling her softly back... And Gideon's voice whispered in her ear, "I think I've had enough to eat. You?"

All Cyn could think for a moment was that she could feel him. She could feel the chair... she could still taste the food and wine on her lips. This wasn't an echo, this wasn't the past. This was a future she was seeing... this was a possible future.

Cyn breathed, disoriented, blinking. Holding still as she sat at the table, taking it in. She was once again in the middle of something.

The lack of Imperial marks, a single Aquilla pin made her stomach do flips. Something about that seemed... wrong to her...  Maybe a bit oddly. She had worked so hard to try to get out of the Inquisition. Even though she could hardly imagine doing so know. Leaving the Inquisition had felt like leaving Gideon... and she couldnt bring herself to do that again.

Cyn flinched a bit at the sudden contact. She had always flinched from surprise touch. Did she flinch in the future? She could hardly imagine a day that she did not flinch.

"Gideon..." Gasping out her lovers name. Her knees suddenly felt weak, barely managing to remain standing.

Cyn felt a surge of emotions. Wanting to scream. Wanting to curse Harlock and this warp damned Blind Tesseract. Confused, Mara was a damned place. And odd place... It seemed impossible that anything that had happened near Mara could.... could... what... She had seen Harlock's ghost ship. Ethereal, yet it blew her own ship to bits... to tiny tiny bits.

... Yet... there was a possible future... that he had survived? Was that what Harlock had been chasing?

Cyn had been working towards accepting that Gideon was... gone... Dead... that he had gone to the Emperor. The thought made her breathe short, her heart ache, and just wanting to lay down and sob, but she had barely been able to indulge it. Had barely been able to grieve the amount of pain she had felt... Her mind flashing back to Lissandra... The pain that had drove Lissandra mad... That drove Harlock mad... Liassandra hadnt been able or willing to do what it took to go to Gregis... or if she had, she had known to let it go because it was not right.

Mind flashing rapidly, desperately through her thoughts and pain and possibilities. Struggling to push back her emotions and memories. Trying to... just... breathe...

"Iii... I... cant imagine being hungry..." Whispering.

"Just dont let go..." Trying to lighten her tone, but she had no doubt it did not sound light. Hoping it didnt sound nearly as desperate as she felt. If she had half a brain, she would have gotten herself under control, but she was fairly certain there wasnt a lot of real sense left. R at least it was hard to remember that with his scent surrounding her.

"Oh, I have no intention of letting you go anywhere," Gideon growled, low and pleased. His other hand moved to beneath her other breast, cupping her and brushing against... piercing? Her nipples were pierced, it seemed, rings that he pinched between fingers through her jacket. He began pulling upward, not hard but insistantly, and she needed to stand up to avoid the pain. He used his grip of her breasts, still soft, to pull her further against him, her back contouring to his chest with the ease of long practice even as one of his hands reached up to grab the side of her head and forced her head to the side so that he could bite her neck even as his other hand began to undo the the buttons of her complex coat without needing to look... evidence of long practice of his own. Twisting her face a bit further, his lips moved to meet her... kissing her from behind as his hand slid inside her now open jacket and beneath her shirt to squeeze and knead the bare flesh of her tits.

Cyn couldn't say how long they kissed, but she could feel the familiar psychic sense of him, lashing out at her, pushing at her mind, caressing her just as thoroughly as his hands did. It was him... him beyond a shadow of a doubt. She doubted that one of the greater demons themselves could so perfectly impersonate a psychic mind she knew so well. She could feel him, his lusts, his needs, his fears, and his pains, knew them as well as a long worn path down a block she had walked for a decade.

It was through that psychic connection that she could feel his lust building... and so she wasn't surprised in the slightest when he broke the kiss abruptly and roughly, giving her tits one last savage squeeze before he removed his hands from them to find her shoulders... pushing her down to her knees until her face was abruptly level with the tented fabric made by his hard cock pressing against his pants. If she wanted to, if she dared, her fingers could fly across the zipper and buttons with lazy grace, her fingers already tingling with the urge to do just that... long ingrained muscle memory from thousands of times doing just that. Far, far, far more times than she could remember personally ever doing it.

She could smell him through his pants... a strong smell, not an unpleasant one. It had barely been a noticeable part of him in the year they spent together... only now, after his loss, did that scent suddenly seem so memorable and strong.

Cyn gasped soft at the tug on her nipples... not her nipples, her piercings. A bit surprising, not completely shocked. She would do almost anything with Gideon's guidance. Hell the man had gotten her into a dress, or half a dress. The fingers and tugs caused her to move to stand to ease her pain and discomfort. Making soft sounds, but she did admit she felt much better out of the chair, and pressed against his body.

Cyn's mind was utter chaos and confusion and pain. Barely able to form coherent thoughts. Thankful for her, she didnt have to do any of that. Gideon made the choices for both of them and her mind and body easily wanted to follow. The feel of his teeth against her skin caused her to writhe against him in growing need. Aware of his fingers freeing her of the decorative jacket.

Kissing him almost feverishly, desperately. Needing, needing, needing.

Feeling the brush of his mind against hers, she gasped desperately. As addicted as she was to his physical touch, she loved the touch of his mind against her. As her own mind and pysker abilities had became known, that mental connection had become a source of intimacy between them. There was a flash of fear, of worry, that as he pressed into her mind, he would realize that she wasnt herself... Or more accurately he would realize she was from the Blind Tesseract, not the decorated Cyn that he had grown with. Even as the fear started, she realized at some level it would not matter to Gideon. She was his Sin... standing before him in utter desperate need of him.

Cyn was willing and pliable as he urged her on to her knees for him. Only a moment, she was moving to free his cock from the pants. Aware of his eyes on her. He stood firmly, solidly above her. Drawing a breath, she was aware of his scent... so familiar... She had thought of that a number of times since she had lost Gideon. Its odd, its the little things in life.

Barely aware of opening her lips, of taking the head of his cock into her mouth. Moaning softly. Cyn's eyes tipped to look up at Gideon. Watching him as she sucked his cock. Taking in his appearance, had time changed him as much as it felt like it had changed her?

Gideon had changed.  He had a scar on his face she'd never seen before... a small thing, from his forehead down over one eye, to one of his lips. The scar was thin and pale, but visible even in the dim light, a lightening of his skin. He was older, too... not much, rejuvat treatments had probably been used, but his hair had more grey in it than once it had.  His eyes, though... they were the same. Intense and amused and lustful as he looked down at her, his hands grabbing as her hair as he guided her mouth deeper on his cock, feeling it as she enthusiastically wrapped her tongue around his shaft. He pushed her deeper, the look on his face lustful and pleased as he he sighed with pleasure, his enjoyment of her oral service just as she remembered it... he loved the same things, reacted with pleasure to the same caresses of her lips and her tongue and her breath as he ever had.

She knew it was coming a few seconds before his hands gripped her head harder, forcing himself more violently into her... not from her psychic senses, but from her memory, from what she expected her lover to do... from how much she had teased him. He began to thrust into her throat hard, enjoying the way she gagged on his dick, the sounds she made as he plundered her throat and she opened herself up to him. Then he pulled her off, his hands beneath her armpits as he lifted her up, tossing her back onto the bed, climbing onto it after her. "Little tease," he growled softly. A game they had played before,,, an excuse to give her a "punishment" that would leave her stretched out with her back curled on the bed.

Like so many times before.

Cyn took in his appearance, his presence above her. In many  ways he was very much the Gideon she knew. Harder maybe, his scars showed his dedication to his cause. Those eyes, his eyes were so intense. Staring at her, she felt the lust and need in him. Stroking her own need and wants.

Gasping as he pulled her mouth off his cock. Unable to help but the soft sound of protest before he had tossed her on the bed. Very aware of what was about to happen. Cyn had a moment to wonder what they had shared over the  years. What memories? What adventures? What missions? What... perversions?

The thoughts vanished as Gideon was suddenly on the bed with her, over her. Cyn made soft sounds of need and want beneath him. Shifting a bit, just testing his hold on her. Feeling his strength. He was still so incredibly strong. He pinned her arms down to the mattress, arms stretched out above her head. Taking away any chance of leverage she might have had.

Eyes wide as she stared up at him. Cyn gasped for little breathes. Her legs were spread wide, knees open, exposing herself for him. Everything else forgotten except for the man above her and the promise of his cock. Shifting a bit on the bed, offering her hips to him.

Cyn knew she desperately needed this. Would give almost anything for this moment. Never would she have even thought to ask for it, but now that it was here, she needed. Needed it so bad.

The uniform pants of Cyn's outfit were in the way.

Gideon all but growled, and she could feel the acute moment of frustrated rage peeking going through his mind, flashing through the psychic shield of discipline he maintained  almost as a matter of habit. For a moment, she saw an imagine of him cutting the pants right off of her to get them the hell out of his way... driven to frustrated lust and need by the simple caress of her tongue and lips against his cock. A short breath later, and the image went away. He grabbed the bottom of her pants and began to tug.

Cyn's attempts to help, to wriggle out of her pants, only made it a little harder to get the pants off. After all the work Gideon had done to get her into a dress in the first place, too...  Finally, he managed to yank them off of her without ripping them to shreds, leaving her skin bare against his warm skin as he all but tore his shirt off, his weight pressing down on her as he leaned down onto her... and then his cock was inside her.

It was just like it had always been, and Cyn never thought she would feel something so good ever again.

His hand slid up to squeeze her throat, pushing her down even as his other hand held her wrists, choking her intermittantly as he stared into her eyes, his cock thrusting and swelling inside her, plowing her open and making her tight body accept his length with a lustful intensity as her still closed breasts bounced beneath him, occasionally attracting his gaze in between staring into her wide, gasping eyes...

Cyn really wasnt thinking straight once she hit the bed. Cock. She wanted his cock inside of her. Not knowing why she was here, or how long she was here... but she was only going to be with him this one more time...

Cyn gasped at the prickle of his emotions. She could imagine her desperation to feel him was feeding his own lust and need.

Looking up at him, she felt his urge to cut the pants off of her. It would not be the first time he had ripped, cut, torn, or otherwise made her clothes unusable after they came off of her body. Cyn moved to try  to get free of the pants, but her help seemed very little help. Feeling the moment he got himself under control enough to resolve to pull the pants off, not rip them. WIth his help, the material came off of her skin, leaving her bare and ready... for... him...

Crying out softly as he thrust inside of her. this... this.. this... she needed... this...

Cyn had started to reach, to touch him, but his hands found her first. It settled something in her. Letting her relax into the bed. Lips parting as he tightened his hand on her throat. feeling the slight high of the oxygen being denied her. Writhing slowly beneath him, offering her hips to him. Shifting her weight a bit, knowing how to twist just a bit for her breast to bounce more easily  with every thrust. Feeling their weight, feeling the tug on the piercing. The feeling driving her mad with need and want, wanting him, wanting this.

Cyn could feel the intensity of his lust by the pressure against her, the way his sheer need pushed on her mind, He wasn't trying to press into her head... he wasn't even trying to send anything to her or reaching out psychically. She could sense the sheer power and enormity of his lust, his need.

With a start, though her lust addled and oxygen deprived brain, she realized that that wasn't right. That she shouldn't be able to sense that, not that clearly. No way. She had grown stronger. Way stronger. It was hard to tell how much of that was her time on Mara, and how much of it might be the future she was in... but her psychic sense of him was unbelievably clear, and she wasn't even trying.

Just the slightest attempt to read him, and she could see his thoughts, his visions. She was fucked a hundred times in those two seconds she was in his head... pounded with her ankles by her head, fucked in the ass from behind, hanging from the ceiling by the neck while his cock kept her up, laying back on the bed with her head hanging off as he fucked her throat, hungrily licking at her cunt even as his hips drove his dick further past her soft lips, holding her throat as she rode him, kneeling while she wrapped her tits around his cock while he sat on the bed.

It was all too much... she could see every thought he had while fucking her, every way he wanted and planned to fuck her, everything he was considering to do next. She saw it as he settled on it, saw it coming a moment before he pulled out of her, barely letting go of her throat for a second as he roughly flipped her over and drove his cunt-slicked shaft into her hungry ass in a single stroke. His hand found her throat again, and how his entire weight was on her, pushing her flat as he dominated her compeltely.

The more intimate they had become over time, the more she had gotten use to their minds almost melding together. To be able to have that contact mentally. A contact that she didnt have with anyone else. Often able to share her pleasure and his pleasure and their pleasures. Cyn was utterly shocked as she realized what she was feeling, feeling his mind in a way that she hadnt before. Knowing he hadnt opened up to her, not really... yet she could feel him... could hear his thoughts, see his visions... Gideon was powerful... but she was inside of his mind, not even trying.

Had her own strength grown? That much? Was that because she was in the Blind Tesserect? Was it because she had grown that much in the future? Gideon was an amazing teacher. She had prayed often for the Emperor to help guide her mission and give her the strength that she needed. Was Gideon still her teacher in the future? She could not think of a stronger psyker. So many questions. SO many wonders.

Cyn was trying to make sense of that, when his vision flashed through her head. Utterly, Utterly, utterly fucked. Distracted by the flash and need and everything.

Suddenly she was face down on the bed. Screaming as his cock thrust into her. Screaming in utter pleasure and need. There was no writhing, no ablity to move, he had her fully pinned. There was a vauge thought that she might be able to shove him off of her, but she didnt want that. She wanted him to fuck her. For her thoughts to still for a while. Not sure how long this moment would last, but wanting to hold onto every moment she had.

She might have thought that bit about maybe being able to throw him off if she wanted to a bit loudly, because right after she did she felt Gideon growl, the sound carrying through his chest into her back more than she could hear it through her ears. The hand around her neck tightened, even as his other arm slipped around her, pinning one arm tightly to her side even as he reached around to grab hard onto one of her tits, locking her even tighter in place as he fucked her ass ever harder, enjoying the feeling of her  hot body squeezing all around him.

It was strange... now that Cyn was paying attention, she could feel HIS pleasure in addition to her own. It was an odd sensation, a bit floaty,,, she didn't have a cock, obviously, so it was hard for her to put much context of the sensations she could feel flowing through her lover... but the ecstatic pleasure didn't require much explanation, She could feel it as his excitement build, felt it from both sides as he accelerated inside of her. It wasn't fair... just the sensations she were feeling would be enough to drive her nearly mindless with pleasure and need and longing. Feeling all the pleasure of the two of them was unbelievable, mind blowing. She could feel her own orgasm from both sides too...  feel the pleasure wash over her, but also felt how good it felt when she clenched his length.

This kind of sex between psychics was something she had never experienced before. Perhaps she hadn't been strong enough before, or perhaps there had still been too many barriers between Gideon and her... but this was being as close to another human being as she could imagine being possible. It was like she and Gideon were sharing a soul.

The sensations blended together into just a wave, and she knew that he was about to cum... from the way he sped up, from the way his cock was growing inside of her, from the way his own pleasure was swelling to a sharp peak, and the sensations were enough to make her cum again... and then he did the same. The heat was almost too much combined with the incredible intensity of her lover cumming deep in her ass. Sharp, pounding, heavy.... it felt like it lasted forever, his cock hard as a length of iron, skewering her deep.

Then he sighed and finally let go of her throat and she got to take the first clear breath of air she'd had in minutes, his weight pressing her flat to the bed in a very, very familiar fashion... resting right against her, his face nuzzled against her slender neck.

Cyn always did have a problem of being over competent. It may have gotten her in a bit of trouble over the years... And not the first time Gideon had proved her very wrong. She might have laughed, but she couldnt manage past the way he was utterly fucking her.

Cyn thought what she had shared with Gideon before had been amazing, intimate, special. As she relaxed, becoming more excited to be fucked, she became aware of more. A depth of sensation and closeness that she hadnt realized they could have. An understanding that she could no longer tell where he stopped and she started.

Shuddering beneath him as she felt her own orgasm, and his orgasm as if it was her on. Trying to scream, but his fingers were too tight on her throat, she didnt have spare voice to scream out her pleasure. Shivering beneath him, helpless and loving it. Her mind and thoughts completely stopping, caught on a purely physical sensations.

Cyn made softly little sounds as she tried to breathe, recovering slowly. Her fingers found his, clutching his fingers, holding him against her. Laying for long moments. Floating in the bliss and pleasure.

"Gideon..." Her voice still slurred a little bit. Drawing a deep breath.

Gathering her thoughts, she pulled together her memory of being on Mara, of entering the Blind Tesseract. Memory of seeing Harlock's family. Memory of the  the Slaugh, of finding herself dead. Memory of Spider Bride Cyn. Memory of seeing Lissandra in rage, Memory of Sinopia. The Memory of realizing she was with Gideon... Cyn kept the memory short, a few moments to show what had happened. Figuring they were mostly irrelevant except to show that she was still in the Blind Tesseract. That she was not entirely His Sin...

Staying here forever sounded very much like heaven to her. A small part of her knew she couldnt. That her timeline still needed her. Cyn managed to draw a deep shuddering breath, pushing back the thought of the pain she had been through since the near crash landing on Mara.

As Cyn opened herself to Gideon, sending the burst of memories to him, she watched and felt his reaction. Surprise, transitioning to shocked realization. Then suspicion... and then for just a moment, fear. Then all she could see was wry amusement coming from her lover as he looked down at her. "You told me so," he said, shaking his head. She felt a last, intimate brush of his mind right up against hers, like a caress of his hand across her cheek, then with obvious reluctance he pulled his mind away, closing down some, shielding himself. "You warned me this day was going to come... but somehow, its still a surprise."

She couldn't read much of Gideon anymore... but even then, she could sense more than she should have been able to. Usually, when he walled himself up, she could get nothing. Now she could get no memories, no thoughts, no sensations... but his emotions and impulses and desires were still clear to her. Muted, but understandable. She could sense the lust shimmering just below the surface, sense the almost palpable urge to throw her back down and fuck her again. She could sense his annoyance that he couldn't, that there was something to do... something important. She could sense his adoration of her.

"I can't let you see," he said, apologetically. "You were very specific. You told me that this day was going to come, when you would come here from Mara... knew because you'd done it already, I guess. " He slashed his hand in an abrupt, negating gesture. "I don't know. How the Blind Tesseract works... worked... is beyond me. All I know is that you came and got me, years ago. You brought me here... took me with you from..." He shuddered. "I'm not sure where."

A chuckle escaped Gideon's lips. "I won't lie. I was angry when I learned what you've done... but time soothed that wound. I understand. There is important work you're doing, Cyn... even if you changed out your little sin for a much bigger one. " He paused. "All I know is you brought me back from a place men don't come back from. There's a price, but there always is... and I've been happy to pay with you."

He reached over to embrace her... and she could feel the warmth of him for all of a second before she saw the silver door open behind him, on the wall. Shining and glowing on the opposite side of her lover... the sign that she had seen what she had come here to see. Gideon sense her tense, seemed to know why. "I'll understand, my sin. All I can promise you is that I'll understand. Either way."

Cyn laying, almost clutching his hand. She had tried to be calm, but... but... it wasnt that easy... Not when the person she was opening up to was Gideon. This Gideon, this Gideon had seemed to come to terms with whatever she might have done... still...

Feeling his emotions, feeling his mind work through what she had just been trying to tell him. Feeling his suspicion and fear hurt, but she understood.

Cyn didnt realize she was holding her breath until she released it. Feeling his mind brush against hers, feeling his amusement. She didnt want to feel him close himself off from her, it caused a bit pain, but she pushed the emotion away. He closed himself away, but she could sense his emotions. Light emotions, but they were there. Taking the edge and sting.

"I... understand..." Whispering. Surely he knew mch that would not be good for her know... then again if that was true, why was she even here... It all made her head hurt to think about

"I.... would... imagine..." Whispering as he said he had been angry at what she had done.

Drawing a deep breath, eyes looking up at him, she felt the guilt of something she hadnt even done yet... but wanted too.

" I always know how to do that..." Admitting softly. Knowing that she had always been good about getting in more and more trouble.

Even as she said it, she couldnt stop the last image she had of him, of him forcing the ship from the danger and out into space. His hand outstretched as if in farewell. In her ears she could still hear the crew shouting that they had to go back... and the door shut... That memory was still so bitterly fresh....

"I swear I have tried behave..." Whispering, emotions filling her for a moment. It was difficult to push it away, to hide it away. "Since... since... it happened... I swore... I was going to let it go..."

Looking at him, she worked to keep her tears from her cheeks. She wasnt going to cry. She wasnt. "I am sure I didnt think it was right for Mara to keep  you..."

Cyn closed her eyes, trying to get herself under control again. Gideon was here... for the moment... seemed wrong to cry for him. Still she needed a moment to get herself under control.

He didnt hate her. He might have been angry for a while, but he understood. "I always felt better knowing you  had my back..."

Cyn didnt want to see the door, she didnt want to leave yet, but it probably would not make much difference now or in an hour. It would never be enough. Nuzzling into Gideon for a moment.

"I thought I was strong enough to hold out temptation." Offering a smile as she drew back to be able to see his features for a moment.

"Things are moving in the galaxy... Things the Tesseract have shown me... So many threats... so many places...." Shaking her head as the words died.

Cyn made herself stand  up... she had to go... she knew it.... Maybe she didnt have to... mind it could not force her to leave... but that was... selfish.

"I have to go... I dont know what happens next..." Realizing he wanted to say she was going to give him his Sin back, but she didnt know what was going to be left when she walked toward that door.

"I love you, Gideon..." Whispering. Cyn, leaning into kiss him before she forced herself to go. Wanting to just find a dark room to curl up in a while, but she knew she probably didnt have that luxury.

Gideon didn't have time to answer before she was gone... if she hesitated, if he spoke kindly to her, she might never leave. But even so... she could feel the swell of emotion that burst out of him when she said that she loved him right before she stepped forward into the silver portal... an overwhelming blast of love and affection and devotion that blasted through any attempt to conceal it... that overwhelmed him until he had no other thoughts.

Then she was through the portal, her existence stretching. She was expecting it to go on for a subjective enternity, like usual... but instead, it only lasted a single moment before Darkness came. Her awareness flowed into that darkness, and it consumed her as thoroughly as a black hole consuming light. All awareness of absolutely anything else just vanished.

Then she was standing on a platform.

It wasn't land, or steel, or anything else she recognized. Some kind of metal, definitely... and it moved beneath her feet. A massive, spinning gear, slowly ticking one notch forward at regular intervals, and at a scale that it was almost like a planet's rotation. All around her, the stars of the Calixas sector spread out on the skyscape, like she was floating in the middle of space, without a suit, without a mask. Not the horrible, mangled stars she had seen from Sinophia either, but beautiful, pure, and familiar stars. The more she stared tho, the more she could see ghostly, moving things in the void... not nightmares or monsters or daemons, but gears... gears connecting the stars, ghostly and nearly invisible but there. They moved as one, twirling, spinning, circling, connecting to one another in labyrinthine ways. It was like the entire galaxy was a...

A clock. And it all connected to the single, vast spinning gear that she was standing on.

She felt rather than saw when she was no longer alone.

He stood beside a chair that had not been there a minute ago, before a table and a second chair that had been equally non-existent. He stood tall and straight, his hand resting on the chair as he looked at her. His eyes were pits of shadow... but other than that, he looked almost precisely as the man in the portrait always had, a picture of confidence and strength and more than a little arrogance.

"Hello, Cyn," Erasmus Harlock said with a voice like the rasping of paper that had been soaked by coffee, a rich, cultured voice that told of... of having lived through an awful lot of life, more than trials or suffering or victories. "Won't you sit down?"

Through the door, Cyn raised her hands to her face. Just wanting to collapse and cry... Wanting to go back...

... she hadnt even said... good bye...

Cyn felt sick and she felt in pain... and so much more...

Gideon wasnt dead though... at least... not where she left him... Cyn told herself that over and over again... she might never see him again... but he wasnt dead... he wasnt dead... he was safe... Fingers pressing harder against her mouth as she started to scream...Just screaming for moments till she was breathless.

Cyn had the sense that she didnt float forever like she had before.

Of course the moment she had needed time the most, she had none. She was raw and shaking, on the verge of tears. Confused...Maybe it was a blessing? Because given what she knew and what she didnt, how hard would it have been to drive herself absolutely insane with her thoughts.

Working to shake her awareness from her thoughts and pain to her surroundings before she got herself killed. Reminding herself that her tasks were not finished, she could not let herself die. Cyn felt like she was a mess, at least mentally. Blinking slowly, trying to draw a breath, another deep breathe... another deep breath. Opening her eyes to look down at herself. Dressed as she was when she had first entered the Tesseract.

Looking  up, she started to take in her surroundings.. The vastness of the stars, of the galaxy... Cyn had come a long way from a hive rat, but she still had a moment of shock at utterly being suspended int... nothingness...

It took a moment to start to pull her surroundings together, to realize it was not space... it was... a clock.

Stiffening a bit as she realized she was not alone... Her eyes falling on a man... Harlock..

" Erasmus..." Her voice was no where near as calm or cultured as Harlock's. She felt like her mind and body were still reeling, still chaos and confusion. Her emotions and thoughts were slow to be put away in boxes and doors in her mind.

It crossed her mind to tell him no, that she would stand, but she realized that standing got her no where. Not that sitting was likely to be helpful, but she was shaken.

Nodding slowly, she moved slowly forward toward the chair. Moving so that she could asses if she was as armed as she had been when she had first started this adventure. Moving seemed more courtesies than reaching out to touch them.

Eramus gave a tiny, polite bow as she called him by his name. A gesture of acknowledgement, not necessarily of respect, but he didn't do anything aggressive, anything to show that he didn't walk to talk.

Cyn quickly found that she was armed... Samara's blade rested at her side, and her bolter, though critically low on ammunition, rested on her other hip and she could easily feel the weight of her other gear as she moved. As she came closer, he waited by his own chair, and as she sank down into her own, he sat down as well, looking at her across the space between them while the galaxy spun behind him.

"Cyn, of the Inquisition. I'll be honest... I never expected to meet you. By now, you've surely realized that I wanted you to find the blind Tesseract... but I hardly dared to think you would make it all the way here. You are far more formidable than you were when you first began your journey, on Quaddis. I saw you there, for the first time... and I confess I didn't think much of you at the time. Then again, I never thought much of most of my family."

A small smile crossed his face. "But here we are, despite ourselves, hmm? It would have been easier, perhaps, if you had died in one of the many futures that you saw... but you didn't.  You saw the same things I saw, the same futures. You've seen what is going to follow. I confess that the thoughts no longer bother me as once they did, but I think they trouble you. If you had died, I suppose it would all be over now... once that fool of an Inquistor comes through, anyway. But since you made it here, I guess you are soon to make a choice. Do you know what it is, cousin mine?"

It was a tiny bit of a surprise that he knew her name... or at least knew her new name. She probably should not have been surprised by  the depth of his knowledge.

Moving, feeling her weapons, her equipment, there was a bit of relief. Going through each time had been a gamble of what she would have with her, what was left behind. That fact had been more uncomfortable than nearly anything else. Taking the moment and slight walk to continue to work to get her mind and thoughts together. She felt like a mess. It would be best if she did not entirely look like it. Slowly she sat down and watched as he did on the other side of the table.

"I like defying expectations..." Cyn commented. "I am told... that culling the herds and populations make the survivors stronger, smarter, more resourceful..."

Watching him for a moment. "I am not the first Harlock to come to Mara... just the first to find my way to the Tesseract. " Cyn made it somewhat of a statement.

Nodding slightly in acknowledgement. She had indeed seen what the future could hold. None of the futures had been overly favorably for humankind.

"The thoughts of those futures no longer bother you..." Cyn started. "Time heals many wounds?"

It felt strange to her that he would call her cousin. Maybe not overly far off, but she hadnt had family, not real family. "What choice is that?"
